Feeding Stray and Wild Animals

Please do not feed stray cats, birds, or other animals on the property. Food attracts vermin, including rats, mice, and roaches. And stray animals can be a source of disease.

Posted by Patricia Duggan, 6 Apr 2004 at 10:08 AM: Hi, My friend has 2 woodchucks living in her backyard and she wishes to get rid of them. Is there a humane way to do this? Someone suggested putting “used” kitty litter in the hole and said they would get up and leave on their own?! Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
