Go Green

Made up of volunteer residents, the Nagle Apartments Green Committee strives to promote the responsible use of energy and resources in order to create a healthier environment and a more sustainable community. By making non-toxic and eco-friendly choices for our buildings, we can enjoy better air quality, reduce waste and ultimately save money.

We hope to implement strategies and ideas that will benefit our every day lives such as:

  • recycling programs
  • bulk purchasing of energy-saving light bulbs
  • using non-toxic cleaners and paints in our buildings
  • expanding our beautiful courtyard garden

For the long term, you can expect us to investigate solar panels and other alternative energy sources to offset our energy expenses, fix our roofs with green materials that will provide energy conservation as well as raise our quality of life, and be examples in our community of healthy green living.
