Our co-op is located in Northern Manhattan in an area historically known as Fort George, at the border between Washington Heights and Inwood (WaHI). Sometimes we're considered part of one and sometimes part of the other neighborhood, depending on who writes about us.
We're within steps of beautiful Fort Tryon Park and the Cloisters and within walking distance of Inwood Hill Park, which has the only remaining natural forest in Manhattan. If you're a parks freak, you'll appreciate the fact that the Washington Heights/Inwood area has more than 620 acres worth of parks!
Check out our community's Resource Directory and Events Calendar.
This calendar lists events that occur within the boundaries of Washington Heights, Inwood, and Marble Hill — that is, in Manhattan north of 155th Street. The calendar is provided on this website courtesy of Washington Heights & Inwood Online and the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA). You are welcome to submit event listing recommendations.
If you use Google Calendar, you can subscribe to the WaHI Events Calendar (non-arts events) or the NoMAA Events Calendar (arts events), or both.
This resource directory lists nonprofit community services and programs serving our neighborhood of Washington Heights and Inwood. It is reproduced here courtesy of Washington Heights & Inwood Online.
